The celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee were filled with events, funny remarkable moments and lots of fashion highlights, let’s review them!
Throughout all the events that took place in the past 4-day weekend, from the St. Paul’s Cathedral service to the Buckingham Palace concert, the Royal Family gave us some sensational fashion moments wearing soft spring colours and beautifully structured silhouettes.
Taking into account that it is very difficult to incorporate such pieces to an everyday wardrobe and for the lack of Royal events to attend that we have, let us show you some pieces that resemble what members of the Royal Family wore this weekend. From similar colours and pieces, get your inspiration from our ideas and make yourself feel part of the royalty!
Include pale yellow in your wardrobe like Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge
It is a fact that Middleton does not ever miss a chance to provide a stylish ensemble. She definitely wore a lot of outstanding pieces during the Jubilee, like a white Alexander McQueen dress or a fuchsia Stella McCartney blazer dress (which we know she loves if you have read our previous blog!). By far our favourite one was the pale yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead that went viral on Instagram.
Get yourself a trench coat like Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
We are obsessed with Markle’s style but the white Dior trench coat she wore at St. Paul’s Cathedral is irresistible! Considering the rainy British weather, a trench coat is probably indispensable in your closet already, but maybe it is time to make it fashionable as well! Check out Burberry and NA-KD.
Bright green is here to stay, take inspiration from The Queen
Among all the memorable looks that The Queen Elizabeth II has worn throughout the years, we can’t stop thinking about the bright green outfit by Stewart Parvin she wore on Buckingham Palace’s balcony. We love that colour, now widely known as ‘’Bottega green’’, it would look perfect on a blazer or a dress for this season.
Red, blue and white for Sunday’s pageant
Some celebs were spotted at Sunday’s pageant being as stylish as ever. We saw Kate Moss wearing a cropped blazer that evoked the Union Jack, and Naomi Campbell was seen wearing a Burberry dress trench coat. We live for these British design moments!
But, if there is one thing we can say now after the Jubilee is that Prince Louis was the one who stole the show!
